IT Quest, a nationwide interactive online quest dedicated to modern technologies, artificial intelligence and startups, is launching in Kazakhstan. The new educational project is being held as part of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence and is aimed at promoting digital skills among residents of the country.

According to the organizers, IT Quest combines educational and game-based formats, allowing participants not only to test their knowledge but also to gain new experience in information technologies. Participation is available through the Astana Hub mobile app.

What IT Quest Is

IT Quest is designed for everyone interested in technology, innovation and the development of the digital economy. Participants will complete a series of tasks related to artificial intelligence, startups, the IT industry and Kazakhstan’s digital ecosystem.

The quest program includes thematic quizzes, logic tasks, digital puzzles, bug-finding challenges in code and attention-based tasks. The organizers believe this format will make learning about modern technologies more accessible and engaging for a broad audience.

In addition to testing knowledge, IT Quest introduces participants to current directions in the development of the digital sector and helps them learn more about opportunities available to young specialists and future entrepreneurs.

IT Quest Will Take Place in Two Stages

The first stage of IT Quest runs from June 2 to June 30, 2026. During this period, participants must complete an online quiz dedicated to technology, artificial intelligence, startups, educational programs and the activities of Astana Hub.

The tasks are designed to develop analytical thinking and the ability to work with information. In addition to questions on digitalization, users will solve logic problems and complete special attention-based tasks.

The second stage of IT Quest will take place from July 1 to July 15. Participants will need to watch a special video and answer questions about its content. Successful completion will require careful study of the material and attention to detail.

How Points Are Awarded

While completing IT Quest, participants will receive virtual rewards in the form of Social Coins and XP experience points. Each successfully completed task brings additional points and improves the user’s position in the overall ranking.

The winner of IT Quest will be the participant who earns the highest number of XP after the two stages of the competition. If several people achieve the same result, the advantage will go to the person who completed the quest earlier than the others.

According to the organizers, this system makes it possible to assess participants’ level of preparation objectively while maintaining competitive interest throughout the project.

How to Participate in IT Quest

To participate in IT Quest, users need to download the Astana Hub mobile app for iOS or Android devices and register.

The organizers emphasize that each participant is allowed to use only one account. Creating additional accounts is prohibited by the contest rules. All tasks must be completed independently.

Training materials will be available to help users prepare for the quest and better understand topics related to artificial intelligence, digital technologies and innovative entrepreneurship.

Astana Hub Continues to Develop Digital Initiatives

The launch of IT Quest continues a series of Astana Hub educational projects aimed at popularizing technology and artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan. Earlier, the innovation cluster held large thematic quests for residents of different regions of the country.

According to the organizers, around six thousand people participated in previous projects. The winners received valuable prizes, and the events themselves helped draw young people’s attention to promising areas of the digital economy.

The new IT Quest continues this initiative and offers an engaging way to explore modern technologies, artificial intelligence and startup culture. The organizers expect the project to increase interest in IT professions and in developing digital competencies, which are becoming increasingly in demand in the labor market.

Detailed information about participation conditions, contest dates and the procedure for determining winners is published in the Astana Hub mobile app.
