Baikonur. Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, held a working meeting at the Baikonur Cosmodrome with Jared Isaacman, head of the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA. The meeting was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the official statement, the sides discussed prospects for Kazakhstan-US cooperation. Particular attention was given to joint projects in space science, astrophysics, satellite technologies and Earth remote sensing.
The participants also considered ways to expand cooperation between scientific organizations and universities in the two countries. The agenda included training programs for highly qualified specialists and the development of commercial cooperation in the space industry.

Madiyev emphasized the strategic importance of partnership with NASA for Kazakhstan’s national scientific and technological capacity. The ministry’s statement says Kazakhstan is interested in long-term practical cooperation focused on concrete results.

Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and instructed relevant teams to prepare a practical cooperation plan.
